Some years back I stumbled into the world of Wasteland Weekend, the post apocalyptic festival in the desert where the spirit of Mad Max walks right out of the screen and into the dust. I found a passion there that I had never felt before. The creativity, the costuming, the raw handmade world people build together, and the incredible community that grows out of it. It was like discovering a place I had always been looking for without knowing it.

What you see below comes from several post apocalyptic festivals, including Wasteland Weekend, Detonation, and others. These events shaped so much of my aesthetic and reminded me how powerful imagination can be when people live it fully for a few days. It is a style and a world I think everyone should experience at least once in their life.
