Creative Photography

The work I enjoy the most has always been the creative photography. I love body painting, costumes, and those strange little ideas that pull an image far outside the usual path. For me it is never just about taking a picture. It is about building a character or capturing a moment in time that feels like it stepped out of its own world. These shoots are where imagination takes the lead and the camera follows.

As you look through this gallery you will see that most of the costumes, props, and makeup are things I designed and built myself. Over the years I have also been lucky enough to work with many other artists who added their own touch to these creations. Every image here carries the fingerprints of collaboration and the joy of making something that did not exist the day before.

I was nervous to do a boudoir shoot; I am a confident woman, but we all have insecurities. The shoot was professional, and quickly comfortable. I might say things like “don’t show my tummy, or my arms” and Victor said “trust me”. I am so glad I did. The joy of seeing myself through his artful eye and celebrating myself is empowering. If you get the chance to work with Víctor, do it for yourself.

I began working with Victor about 4 years ago and had never done any actual modeling before. He immediately made me feel comfortable and confident in both him and myself. I continue to use the things he taught me even in general photography and posing.
