Costume design has always been the place where my imagination runs wild. My work leans heavily into fantasy, festival culture, steampunk, and the postapocalyptic worlds I have spent so many years exploring and photographing. I love building pieces that feel lived in and full of story, the kind of costumes that look like they walked in from another world and decided to stay a while.
Leather has become one of my favorite materials because it carries memory and character. I also enjoy taking found objects and repurposed materials and giving them a new life, letting each piece guide the design as it evolves. What you see here is a collection of moments in that process. Every build has its own history, and this gallery holds many of the worlds I have created along the way.
I was nervous to do a boudoir shoot; I am a confident woman, but we all have insecurities. The shoot was professional, and quickly comfortable. I might say things like “don’t show my tummy, or my arms” and Victor said “trust me”. I am so glad I did. The joy of seeing myself through his artful eye and celebrating myself is empowering. If you get the chance to work with Víctor, do it for yourself.
– HeatherVictor’s eye for detail is impeccable. He captured the essence of our corporate event beautifully, making every shot count. The photos are a big hit with our team and clients alike. We’ll definitely be using Ciccarelli’s Photography for future events
