Maybe it comes from growing up on too many late night horror films, but I have always been drawn to the dark corners of the world. There is a certain beauty that hides in the shadows, a feeling that something powerful is waiting just beyond the light. I have never believed that darkness and beauty cancel each other out. Sometimes they make each other stronger.
What you will see below are images I think of as darker beauty. They sit right on that thin line where horror and attraction meet, the place where you feel both curiosity and a small chill at the same time. These pieces are meant to pull you in gently, to let you explore the thrill of the unknown and the strange comfort that can be found in things that are not entirely safe or simple.
Vic has an eye for detail that is the best I’ve seen in my 20 years of modeling. I’ve shot with him many times and all were fun, relaxed and professional.
